April showers brought May flowers, and those flowers are particularly beautiful at 1520 Spenwick! May’s Yard of the Month was cared for by Gaye Maris. She has lived in Bryan Place for 11 years now. Gaye loves planting flowers each year but said that even she was pleasantly surprised by just how lush and colorful her perennials turned out this season.
Her flower bed brightens the neighborhood with its pink and purple hues. The large Snap Dragons draw your eye immediately before following the Creeping Phlox across the stone wall to the sweet turtle statues set out as the finishing touch!
While Gaye’s cheerful front yard is sure to put a smile on your face, her favorite flowers, Cone Flowers and Zinnias, are growing in her prized back yard. It’s worth strolling a little slower past this house this month, so you can fully appreciate all of the sights and smells this garden has to offer!
