It’s time to come together to hear about the state of the Neighborhood Association and socialize with some of your neighbors.
Come at 6:30 p.m. for refreshments and the business meeting will start at 7:00 p.m.
Kay Kallos, Public Arts Program Manager, City of Dallas Cultural Affairs, will be our guest presenter. There have been many changes to the Happy Shapes project that was originally designed to light and enhance the underpass at Central and Ross. Because of technical and expense issues, we are now making plans to rescale and relocate the lighted art to Exall Park. There are many steps involved in the redeploying of this project, including approval of the Parks Department, Board of Friends of Exall Park, approval of City Council, and rework of the proposal by the artist. Most important in this process is to confirm that the neighborhood still supports the project.
